Car Rental FAQs Each car rental company runs a bit differently, and sometimes understanding what’s expected of you as the renter isn’t always clear cut. At Greenleaf Rent A Car, we do our best to clarify our rental policies and answer questions for our customers. In fact, here are four common questions we get on a regular basis.

1. How old do I have to be to rent a car?

At Greenleaf, our age requirements state that you have to be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license in order to reserve a car rental. We also don’t charge any additional fees for being under the traditional 25 years old.

2. What type of payments do you accept?

We do our best to be flexible with our payment options. Acceptable methods of payment include credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express), cash, and debit card. However, note that if you plan to pay with cash or a debit card, you will want to contact our staff ahead of time so we can run through a few additional policies related to cash payment. We do not accept personal checks.

3. May I bring my dog in the rental car?

As much as we all love Fido, he is not allowed in the rental car for any reason. We have to keep our vehicles as clean as possible and ward off any potential allergens. Therefore, we have a strict no-pets policy.

4. Do you offer roadside assistance?

Our staff works hard to keep all our vehicles well maintained. However, sometimes unexpected issues pop up. For all mechanical and warranty-related issues, we do have a 24-hour roadside assistance number you can call. All other car issues must be the responsibility of the renter.
